Similarly to what was done by KSG, the Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining at the University of Queensland, Australia, has prepared a discussion paper that seeks to generate industry debate about grievance mechanisms for Australian mining companies operating offshore.
During the drafting stage, CSRM consulted with companies, industry bodies and other stakeholders about the content of the paper and recommendations made, which are geared towards building knowledge and industry capacity to handle grievances and disputes
